• Schizophrenia — helps reduce hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and other psychotic symptoms.
• Bipolar disorder — particularly moderate-to-severe manic episodes.
• Severe persistent aggression in certain patients with Alzheimer’s dementia, generally for short-term use when other approaches have not worked.
• In some children/adolescents, severe persistent aggression associated with conduct disorder, under specialist supervision.
